Omni Connectors

Zuar Runner 3.7.0 introduces Omni connectors: a family of more than 240 connectors for popular applications, databases, and services. The full list is on the Connectors page.

Each Omni connector is installed individually and provides its own job creation wizard, named after the connector. For example, the Salesforce connector provides the “Omni Salesforce” wizard and the Sage Intacct connector provides the “Omni Sageintacct” wizard. A connector’s wizard is available only while the connector is installed; removing the connector also removes its wizard.

Working with an Omni connector follows the same lifecycle regardless of the service it connects to:

  1. Install the connector from Settings > Licensing.

  2. Create jobs with the connector’s wizard. The wizard collects credentials for the service, lets you choose which tables to load, and creates one job per table plus a sequence that runs them together.

  3. Configure jobs as needed. Most jobs can run immediately after creation; the job configuration supports customization such as custom SQL queries, connection options, and upsert.

  4. Troubleshoot with driver logging if a job or connection does not behave as expected.
