File Browser

The File Browser block provides a read-only file browsing interface that allows users to navigate and download files from the Portal's Asset Manager. It displays files in a grid view with thumbnail previews for images.

The Asset Manager must be enabled for this block to function.

Add a File Browser Block

Add a new block to a page and select File Browser from the block type list.

Configuration

• Root folder - The starting directory path for the file browser. Files and folders above this path are not accessible.

User Experience

• Browse files and folders with breadcrumb navigation.
• View image thumbnails in the grid view.
• Select a file and click the download button to download it.
• Pagination is handled automatically with infinite scroll.
• All configured access permissions are respected.
